Warning if you are a fan of Spartacus and have not watched the series finale... stop reading...


Not since Optimus Prime passed away (during the 80's animated film) have I been brought to sadness and grief over a fictional character...

First was Oenomaus in the previous season... I was saddened but understood.

Then these warriors who I have followed for years lost another after many successful battles... Crixus... I was hit very hard....

Again not since childhood have I care for fictional characters so much.  Gannicus  being crucified was rough to watch...

but the manner in which Spartacus was murdered... killed on the battlefield was fitting... No Roman would be able to topple him head on (same as Crixus)

Not 1 spear, but 3 large spears... to topple the bringer of rain...

RIP Spartacus ... 39 episodes was a great run indeed.


Time to start the whole ride over again with season 1.
